Sampling Methods
Se empleó como metodología las colectas al azar. De cada individuo seleccionado se hizó una extracción definitiva de alguna de las siguientes secciones de la planta: partes vegetativas (Hojas, ramas, tallos, raíces, rizomas, entre otras) y partes reproductivas (Flores, frutos soros, semillas entre otras). Las muestras se procesarán siguiendo las técnicas tradicionales en campo: prensado en papel periódico y alcoholizado (solución 50% agua y 50% alcohol). Las muestras alcoholizadas serán transportadas en bolsas pláticas dentro de costales de nylon, para su posterior secado en horno (60°C) y cuarentena por congelamiento. Cada ejemplar contara con duplicados, que se depositaran en colecciones biológicas registradas.

- Durante una expedición en las áreas de estudio del proyecto, se colectaron muestras botánicas de acuerdo a las metodologías diseñadas y aprobadas por el equipo técnico, el material fue transportado a la ciudad de Bogotá, donde se identificó y se realizó el procesamiento de este material (secado y etiquetado).Las muestras fueron depositadas en colecciones biológicas registradas.
- Con la información recopilada se elaboraron tablas de resultados florísticos y estructurales, que fueron analizadas para la creación de un informe general del proyecto y publicaciones científicas.
